MICHAEL THOMAS  – DEVELOPMENT Director

From London, of Caribbean descent, my experience is 28 years retail banking, schools finance and developing other businesses. As a Director at Sutton Hall Resort, North Yorkshire, my interest was piqued during the most recent lockdowns on how to make members and staff safe.

 My research, along with colleagues, led us to examine this area closely. Consequently, APTA was formed to provide information for business, schools, and consumers to understand what the best options are for their setting knowing that. Only manufactures that meet high standards and can provided independent evidence as to the efficacy of what they manufacture will be recommended by APTA.

 This goes beyond the current pandemic and looks at our requirement to improve the air we breathe and consequently our health. Passionate about air quality control, I am working towards the goal of much better understanding of this important area for all, including authorities and regulators.
